WRITER

Henry Alexander Kelly is a venti-caramel (cause he’s chubby and brown), Nicaraguan, Afro-Latino, gay comedic writer and director born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and based out of Los Angeles. He creates zany, larger-than-life, genre-blending worlds exploring the intersection of cultural identity, interpersonal struggles, and the comedic absurdist heart of society. He also loves pizza and video games 😊 (Let's chat, Sonic the Hedgehog, and The Legend of Zelda, Woo!) He’s an alum of several writing fellowships, including Dan Lin’s Rideback Rise, the Sundance Uprise Grant Program, the Sundance BIPOC Mentorship Program, Film Independent's Project Involve, and the National Hispanic Media Coalition’s Series Script Writers Program sponsored by ABC and NBC. His half-hour adult-animated, Aztec-mockumentary, “NOW-WHAT?!” is in development with Casa Duhamel, a Spanglish Production House for Artistas, founded by Magdiela Hermida Duhamel (Inside Out 2) and Davin B. Duhamel (La Canción Del Lago). His short film, “Chuck & Fern”, a fantasy video game comedy, won Best Film at the E-Sports Insider Film Festival Lisbon.
